Thats true. Your body is like a sponge that has been dried out, It's ready to absorb every single drop of nutrients. My time off usually depends on how i feel. I competed on that Fri & Sat. I was in the gym on Tues. I have been off but i've been sneaking in the gym about 3 times per wk just to keep the blood flowing muscles stimulated. No hardcore work just maintance high reps and squeeze. Also, i need cardio to help keep my water in check. Been doing 30-40 min every time i train. Planning on getting back regimented on June 4th so that would have given me a 3 wk semi break

Was looking through the latest Flex mag and saw and article about Dusty Hanshaw, whom i'll be seeing on stage in Nov as well as Brian Yerskey who i will also be seeing on stage. Kinda pushed me closer to my "zone" So i went in and hit legs today and i plan on picking up my training a bit. Feeling like it's time to get busy.
I love it! 2 cups of oats, 2 scoops of protein, ground cinnamon, and 2 boiled eggs if i have them. hmmmm... usually hold me until about 11am.
Getting in my groove. Hit arms yesterday, and i'm itching for some chest, back, and shoulders today. Got my weight down to 280.8 looking forward to seeing 270's tonight and tom morning. Prolly going to postpone the bulk diet until july. I want to spend the entire month of June cutting. We'll see how it goes.
Thanks bro! I sure did enjoy it! Now i'm back to business maybe i'll have a cheat meal once a week this month but i'm focusing on getting my weight down

Quick story...I don't know if i told yall that when i went to Atl during memorial weekend my mother inlaw cooked me 20 biscuits from scratch and i ate 15! lol By the time i left i was 292lbs haha. Down to 278-280 now trying to get into my 260's by the end of this month. I was feeling the pressure of being soooo heavy and then i begin to think i'm only about 25lbs over my stage weight, which is about right. I don't know how many of you guys have ever read the book SLICED but it is an iconic book for bodybuilding and it recommends to keep your off season wt under +30lbs from your stage wt. I would like to hit the stage at a very well conditioned and polished 260 in Nov. Got some work to do.... Anyways, hitting legs today. 2nd leg day this week. Seated calf raises: 3 x 30 (Heals together, toes up, toes in. 1 set each) Standing calf raises: Same as seated calf raises Leg ext: 4 x 20 (5 slow, 5 fast, 5 slow, 5 fast. Toes in) Leg press: 3 x 30 (Legs flared. Focus on top of rep) Leg press: 3 x 30 (Feet shoulder width, toes slightly pointed out. Focus on bottom of rep) Lunges: 2 x 15 each leg (Steps outside of shoulder width) Lunges: 2 x 15 each leg (Steps inside of shoulder width) Smith machine stiff leg deads: 6 x 12 Seated leg curls: 5 x 20 Lehhh Go!!!
Leg workout was great. Quads were blood filled, felt great. I will be revisiting that workout again wt 277, yay! Today is shoulders, gotta draft it up then i'll post it up. Lehhh Go!!!
