We are approaching August, and Fall is just around the corner. People in the gym begin to cough and sneeze and that’s when it all starts. Those people are the ones to leave machines uncleaned after they use them out of laziness and to “spread the wealth”. The humidity beings to climb and draws more germs into your system. Then, the cold starts to creep in. It is time you got ready for the flu and other sicknesses. BE PREPARED! Have a plan and stick to it. Do not allow your friends to suggest this medication or that medication before you are all drugged up and feeling worse.

What vitamin is the most essential for fighting off sickness?

Vitamin C is one of they key vitamins to stock up on. It has many benefits to boost your immune system and is often the first suggestion for fighting off sickness. The second product to grab is quality Echinacea, as it is also shown to help fight off the common cold by over 80% (in combination with Vitamin C). Those are two key essentials to have in your prepared sick-kit.

The next vitamin/mineral to grab is Zinc. It helps the body recover and is an essential part of the healing process. Zinc lozenges are also a great choice! The next vitamin, and the growing king is vitamin D, specifically Vitamin D3 (also found in AJR). Vitamin D helps boost the immune system, which allows your body to remain strong and fight off any toxins that may be present. Vitamin D3 can also offer assistance with S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) and it is nearing the end of Summer so don’t waste any time picking this up!

There you have it! Not an overwhelming number of supplements to pick up, just a few. Vitamin C & D, Zinc, and Echinacea. Get popping the vitamins C & D now. Zinc is also key to consume. Do not add in echinacea until you feel the onset of the sickness. It has properties that only allow it to be supplemented for shorter durations of 6 to 8 weeks. Beyond that it tends to lose its’s effectiveness. Stock up now and stay on the track to health!
